Methods to determine the distance of an LD boom by measuring the angles have been proposed on several occasions. Joël Hernandez created an EXCEL Sheet (in french) where the distance is automatically calculated. We will be able to see the method in action in Mühlacker this year. Open question: what is the expected accuracy of the method ?
