The time is fast approaching. Those planning to attend, please
reply here or direct to me. I need a head count and your t-shirt size.
Entry fee will be $20 and that includes a shirt (Clayton, you'll be
happy... going black this year lol). I will post the art online in a
few days so if anyone wants a shirt but can't come, let me know. There
will be a few extras at the tourney but if you don't let me know in
advance, I can't guarantee you a shirt or your size. XXL are $2 extra.
LD will be at Diamond Middle Branch park in Plains Township, just
outside Canton, Saturday, June 29th. Gary Broadbent will be local
host. The actual address for the park is:
Diamond Community Park and Sports Complex, 2782 Diamond St NE, Canton,
Several new folks have expressed an interest... please come! We have
plenty of booms to loan free and the tournament includes a Novice
Division. Call me for any info (214) 546-8878.
LD will be on Saturday, warmup 8:30-9:30, throwing 10-6 with pizza at
Gary's afterward. Please stay Sunday for the first ever National Kylie
Golf Championships, at the course behind Gary's house. Be at Gary's at
9am Sunday, 3204 38th St. N.W., Canton 44718-2908 so we can do this
early for folks that need to get back that evening.
Rob Stewart has GENEROUSLY funded the LD field cost and more and we
receive support through a grant from the USBA and our sponsor Boomerang
PLEASE NOTE! Your USBA dues must be paid either before the tourney or
at it. DO IT BEFORE... pretty please, so I don't have another thing to
deal with :-)
We will read rules before throwing and there are a few small
modifications so be on time, please.
Don't forget the Prize Table, a LD tradition. Bring a boom or boom
item. This will go on the table, seperate from awards, and last place
gets to choose first. The idea is to try and get good booms into the
hands of those that need them so keep that in mind.
I look forward to seeing everyone soon. This will be one of only two LD
tournaments in N. America this year... the other at USBA National in
June in Albuquerque. So be there or be square lol. Oh, and by the
way, I managed to stash a few Twinkies before the fall...
