This is reminder about the upcoming Beach Tournament March
7th and 8th in sunny Hermosa Beach, Ca. (this weekend the weather is
a nice 72 degrees and wind mild enough to throw MTA's all day,

LAX and it's no problem picking you up.

(H2H) type of tournament. For those of you not familiar with H2H,
you are basically throwing against someone else. Each event is a
double elimination tournament in itself so everyone gets A LOT of
throwing. Again see the web-site for detailed information about each
event. Any new-comers to comp throwing should not be intimidated and
you will learn a tremendous amount in a short time. You will get to
throw along-side some of the best in the business, and this is what
it's all about.
On Sunday I was thinking of having a team day where we would do WBC
style events. We would pick teams (all throwers would be included)
and do a few events. As a finale I was thinking we would put all the
WBC individuals together on one team and have show-down between them
and all the next best throwers present (sort-of like the
Globetrotters against the Washington Nationals).
